Chaplain Aid Back
When you accept the position of Chaplain Aide you agree to provide service in your troop. This responsibility should be fun and rewarding. This job description provides some of the things you are expected to do while serving as a junior leader.

Requirements:    
  • Minimum First Class Scout
  • 1 year in the troop
  •  
    Duties:
     
  • Keep troop leaders appraised of religious holidays when planning activities
  • Assist the Chaplain or religious coordinator in meeting the religious needs of troop members while on activities
  • Encourage saying grace at meals while camping or on activities
  • Tell troop members about religious emblem program of their faith
  • Set a good example.
  • Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly
  • Live by the Scout Oath and Law
  • Shows Scout spirit
